LA Flexy is a Radio/TV Presenter, afro-highlife singer, songwriter, and music producer who began singing at age 6. He recently dropped his debut album titled I N F U S I O N and more hits to take the airwaves.
Synopsis
Born in Early 80’s LA Flexy entered the fame game at age 18, few years after he moved to Ibadan, Oyo State to live with his elder brother Dr. Yinka Ayefele (MON). After featuring on a live show on Premier 93.5FM Ibadan, Laolu Ayefele became regular co-presenter on a popular show called Ojumore (Breakfast Show) with his popular segment called Ijinle-Isiti (My Advice). He started producing musical jingle in 2001 and has produced thousands of them for his clients across Nigeria. LA Flexy released his first single titled “Your Logo” in 2014 followed by a video release in London, United Kingdom. He has presented on Nigeria Local Radio (UK), TV Show on Surprise TV (UK) and has performed at different location in London, Birmingham, Newcastle, Liverpool and Manchester. Releasing such single as Angelina and Lesson, LA Flexy has through versatility caught the attention of fans and followers in recent years. He’s not just a singer but a talented musician who can adapt to different music genre. LA Flexy songs have repeatedly landed at No. 1 on the charts, earning him several awards, among other honours.
Early Years
Laolu Ayefele (LA Flexy) began singing in his church choir at our Saviour Anglican Church Ipoti Ekiti when he was six years old. He was a member of school choir in elementary and secondary school. Laolu Ayefele grew up with his parent Chief Joshua Ayefele and Mrs. Abigail Ayefele together with his siblings. His late father; a retired teacher and a disciplinarian was said to be a good singer who takes students on a voluntary music lesson during the school term. His Mother Mrs Abigail was a member of choir at Baptist Church before she got married.
Broadcasting Career
Few years after moving to Ibadan to further his education, Laolu Ayefele became a well-known radio presenter and a voice over /musical jingle guru. He started his broadcasting career at Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) as freelance broadcaster on Premier 95.5FM Ibadan, Nigeria. He has since then presented on a different radio station in Nigeria such as; Gold FM Ilesha- Osun State, Paramount FM Abeokuta, Ogun State, Radio Lagos(Tiwa N Tiwa Amititi). He produced a very popular jingle for a movie called “SKIRATU SINDODO; a popular movie that brought Tayo Odueke known as Sikiratu Sindodo into limelight.
Musical Career
LA Flexy performed at The Troxy London shortly after his debut single on a show tagged “The Return of KWAM1” featuring the likes of Queen B, Ortise Femi, 3D Dancers, Moelogo and King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal himself. He has since then been known for his polished vocals, chic style, and sexy dance moves.
Film and TV Roles
Outside of music, Laolu Ayefele is a professional master of ceremony (MC) and TV/Radio Presenter. He has featured in a home movie titled “ENI RAN NI NISE” a Christian movie that portrays man’s commitment to Godly assignment on Earth. This movie was released in 2005 and was shot in London, United Kingdom.
Other Projects
LA Flexy releases his debut album titled infusion in 2018 and he’s currently working on releasing more songs and videos for his fans. He currently heads Fresh 105.9 FM Ibadan(London Studio) where he presents his live show called “Lagbo Naija” (Nigerian in diaspora) every Saturday between 19:00hr and 20:00hr Nigerian time. He’s the founder of Rasdabase Media and Rasdabase Properties. Laolu Ayefele as a professional IT man owns an IT Company (Rasdabase Technology) that specializes in building strong IT solution for small and medium businesses. He also owns an online fashion shop(Rasdabase Fashion) selling menswear and accessories. LA Flexy owns a blog that writes about the latest gist in the entertainment world called (naijagyration)
Education Background.
Laolu Ayefele, attended Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife, Nigeria where he obtained Dip-Computer Science, Interlink College Of Technology and Business Studies London and bagged First-Class Honours in BSc Business Information Technology from the University of Greenwich London.
